Metaphor of life 6

About the Artwork

Metaphor of Life 6 is a contemporary abstract painting inspired by the enduring spirit of Khajuraho, where sculptural forms bring together sensuality, human connection and spiritual transcendence. In this abstract meditation, the presence of two women and one man is suggested not as literal figures, but as shifting energies emerging through vibrant layers of yellow, orange and pink.

The fragmented forms and expressive gestures evoke the rhythm of intimacy, human relationships and emotional connection. Rather than depicting a specific narrative, the composition explores the tension between desire and transcendence, reflecting the way physical experience can become a deeper reflection on human existence.

Through layered colour, gesture and texture, the figures appear to emerge, overlap and dissolve into one another. This fluidity creates a sense of movement and transformation, suggesting that identity, relationships and emotions are never completely fixed.

Metaphor of Life 6 brings together contemporary Indian abstraction with the philosophical and visual legacy of Khajuraho. The work becomes less a depiction of figures and more a field of vibration—where passion, harmony, intimacy and spiritual aspiration coexist in a constantly evolving visual experience.
