Metaphor of Life 16

About the Artwork

Metaphor of Life 16 is a contemporary abstract painting that explores the complexity of human experience through fragmented forms, layered surfaces and an interplay of deep blues, turquoise, greens and soft pinks. The interconnected shapes suggest memories, emotions and experiences accumulating and transforming over time.

The layered composition reflects life as a continuous process of fragmentation, connection and change. Forms appear to emerge, overlap and dissolve, creating a visual rhythm that mirrors the shifting nature of memory and perception. Rather than presenting a fixed narrative, the artwork leaves space for personal interpretation, allowing each viewer to discover their own associations and meanings within its abstract visual language.

Through mixed-media processes, colour, texture and expressive forms, Metaphor of Life 16 reflects on the evolving nature of lived experience and the connections that shape our understanding of life.
