About the Artist

I am a contemporary Indian artist based in Delhi, with over 16 years of professional art practice. My work explores the intersection of human emotion, abstract symbolism, and spiritual reflection. Through a bold use of colour and texture, I invite viewers into a deep, meditative visual experience. Influenced by human emotions, lifestyle dynamics, and urban environments, my work blends contemporary abstract techniques with philosophical depth.

My creative process extends far beyond academic conventions. Rejecting rigid forms and temporary trends, I choose to reflect the true essence of my surroundings. My art captures the vibrant energies of urban life—the aspirations of the middle class, the chaos of crowded streets, the solemnity of prayer ceremonies, and the stark realities of unattended waste. Through these observations, I portray the complexities of human existence and the underlying social fabric.

While staying engaged with contemporary developments, my work remains deeply personal and intuitive. Each piece emphasizes spatial alignment and technical balance, often beginning with free-flowing charcoal or pen drawings layered with coloured inks. By allowing the subconscious to guide the initial layers, I translate memories and daily impressions into expressive abstract compositions—a continuous journey from perceiving the world to shaping it on canvas.

My artistic practice moves between abstraction, mixed media, symbolism, and contemporary visual expression. I believe art can create a space for reflection—one where colour, texture, form, and emotion come together to encourage viewers to pause, interpret, and connect with their own experiences.

Through my paintings, I continue to explore the relationship between the individual and the world around them, transforming everyday observations, memories, emotions, and inner reflections into visual narratives.
