Metaphor of Life

About the Artwork

Metaphor of Life explores the complexity and unpredictability of human experience through a dense network of fragmented forms, intersecting lines and layered textures. The warm palette of burnt orange, rust, ochre and earthy browns is contrasted by vivid accents of pink, violet, green and white, creating a dynamic tension across the surface.

The overlapping shapes suggest fragments of memories, emotions and experiences—some clearly defined, while others remain ambiguous and constantly shifting. Expressive lines move through and across these forms, connecting different areas of the composition and creating a sense of continuous movement.

Rather than depicting a specific moment or narrative, the work reflects life as an accumulation of experiences: fragmented, interconnected and constantly evolving. The viewer is invited to navigate the layers of the composition and find their own associations, memories and meanings within its abstract visual language.

Metaphor of Life ultimately becomes a reflection on the many contradictions of existence—order and chaos, permanence and change, connection and separation.
