About the Artwork

Cognition 12 is a contemporary mixed-media artwork that explores the complex relationship between thought, memory, perception and human experience. Through fragmented forms, intersecting lines and layered surfaces, Apurva Singh transforms inner states of consciousness into an abstract visual language.

The composition suggests a continuous flow of thoughts and impressions, where forms appear to emerge, overlap and dissolve. The fragmented visual structure reflects the way memories and ideas rarely exist as complete or isolated moments, but instead connect and transform through time.
